House hunting is finally over yay!! :B

time to sort out payment. and hopefully move in next month and finally start work! :]

Got my results back for uni~ :] managed to get a 2:1 but v.sucked that i was 1 off from a 1st^^;

this was due to lack of research gathering^^; most of my marks came from my design boards, presentation and making lol

research IS easy to do! but I guess its the lack of time I had to print, glue and stick xD definitely need to work on it for my final year when I come back!

I wanna go kite flying~ was such a nice day today~ loving the freedom~ need to make the most of it :]

Hello London~

stayed for few days/nights with my friend Shino, on the way stopping by for an interview with REEM! in Kent~

managed to get the job for work placement! even by presenting my work from my ipod touch xD [apparently I'm the first~ She seemed happy though !B and i guess an ipad would come in handy since it's bigger lol] good for the environment -save paper and save the weight load of carrying everything~ also it was kinda last min. stuff just a day or 2 before I left home that I actually realized that whether or not present my works^^; silly me..

anyways~ happy now :] I can start work straight away once I find a place to live in~ so now its house hunting ~~ (= 3 =)

5 hours away from my home/ working possible a whole year but gonna work up till Nov. for now and see how things go~ might end up getting a 2nd job which actually pays me if things gets pricey..

hopefully the experience will be worth it and that I'll learn a lot :3

&&&& I'm hoping to say hello to Tokyo- fashion week in Oct/Nov. later this year but REEM is only taking 2 students!!! so I'll have to work hard! though im excited and scared at the same time~

Hello Korean food*~ we went to NARU~ its so yummy! though I dont like spicy foods there were many foods that were -neutral- on the menu xD

i'm v.happy that I helped her enjoy her stay in UK for her study abroad, it's only been less than a year since we met at the J-society party and that we hanged out now and again since, and it seems like we've known each other for a long time!

I'm happy to become her best UK friend lol and that she is my best Japanese friend to have, hopefully later this year if I get chosen to go to JFW we will meet again! :B

thats about it so far since uni finished~

B'day Party to go on sunday~uni. results on Mon.~ though traveling back to London->Kent with parents for house hunting so results may be delayed since its on the same day to collect...so thats a miss~ and hopefully start moving out my stuff from my flat room--> back into my home for now~

I went to watch John Mayer play Live last night with my friend Shino, It was my first time going to a LIVE band concert, even though I wasnt a much fan of John Mayers but I thought I'd go along with her just to check it out~ I love the sound of his guitar play :] He was so good~
along the side Ellie Goulding performed at the start as a support band~ able to sing, play guitar whilst also drums!? xD she was awesome! I never new who exactly she was until i actually heard the songs, I always hear it in TOPSHOP.
Shes fairly new but already shes becoming v.popular here :] I think her debut album songs are way better than her 3 single releases but anyways do check her music out

Had an awesome time! wish I was back in Tokyo right now (= 3 =)

have so much to do by this week...hate workload.

anyways we stayed at the Omori Tokyu Inn for 5 days, and we were given an itinerary for the activities to do and place visits to go for each day.

If I had to follow a trend group from Japan Autumn/Winter would be the antique look 'Dolly Style' whilst Spring/Summer would be 'Fairy-Kei' for me :]

I love this style~ its been going around in my head trying to find info. but finally its up~ on style-arena. I guess it's a new kind of trend that is getting popular right now in Japan. I love the natural pale colours and texture of the garments how it creates that vintage-y, antique look~ cute girly yet kool~ my type of style~ the brand 'Grimoire' looks so awesome~ must go on a hunt for this boutique~

following 'Fairy-Kei' I've always loved this style~ 6%DOKIDOKI has always been my fav. [roll back post here]

its quite similar to the 'Dolly style' I think but they contrast eachother like angel and devil if you know what i mean~ since they both have that vintage style~ with the sophisticated, romantic kind of look adding that kool touch~

I used to love Lolita fashion alot in the past and I still do but not as much before~ I would'nt wear the full outfit daily if so~ I have dressed up as a Gothic Lolita twice for halloween what fun times~ fashion always changes! thats why its soo interesting :3

not only that the 2 styles do good to the environment :] well maybe not the dead animal fox fur used in 'Dolly style' (= . =) ... but can always consider fake fur better!

My friend Shino got me a gift when she went to Germany over the christmas holiday~ lol wasnt expecting anything O.o; but thank you*~!! ^^V

I'm in love with this Tea!! I couldnt understand what the package says but I managed to guess the instructions i.e. leave for 10mins etc.

I found out what some of the dried stuff were after drinking it and eating bits of it by accident^^; you can see why ^ ( I have no filter-only at home lol)

anyways theres dried apples, cinnamon and flower petals~ and maybe nutmeg stuff but

it smells sooooooooooooooo nice! I LOVE APPLE AND CINNAMON~~~ Im addicted to the smell more than the drink~ xD

it tastes totally different to the smell but still v.nice !! has a herbal sweet fruity taste to it ^^ like a fruit juice? but hot and more flavour blast to it~ :]

Its going to be a scary year for me~ work placement 2010/2011

I'm hoping to go to 日本 but the chances maybe v.small due to all the economy stuff going on and the finance ^^; but if not then its London~ I'm not giving up though!

so I guess my NYR is to get a decent placement somewhere and work harder than last year?

it'll be a new experience for me I have no idea what I want to do in the fashion industry yet still... and time is ticking away~~~

as long I dont get put into a factory or something..Im happy^^;

Im hoping there'll be an intro. about the different types of fashion jobs out there when I start back uni..even though I should be doing my own research too^^; *sigh

I have time to write some of the ups and downs of 2009~

Best of 2009:

+going to 3 holiday abroad trips~ [I didnt go anywhere in 2008 so I guess this year has made up for it, 2008 sucked esp. being ill for a week in the xmas holiday worst year..]

went to NY, HK and Okinwawa.

+I made it into my 2nd year of uni

+officially taking Japanese lessons, and loving it :] i know it's going to get harder..

+got a whole lots of electronics: macBook, ipod touch, Digi.cam, Pen Tablet, mobile phone.

huh^^; gosh.. Im in so much of my parents dept.

+made lots of new friends

+me and my cousins are still closer than ever as well as my best friend Rach. who's always looking after me hee~ ^^ however much I rant about uni work shes always supportive.

Downs of 2009: [well not really downs but kinda^^;]

+we are all growing up I cant believe I'm officially a young adult..I wish I was 12 again..

+some people are drifting apart ~ I guess thats life sometimes everyone has their own things to do..its quite depressing but we're always there for each other.

ahh I ran out of time to write my aims and new years resolution I guess It'll have to be next post. have a Happy New Year!!

I never tasted French Macarons before, they're usually quite expensive to buy and hard to find them here. so I never tried them until today~ always wanted to though!! cuz they look so cute~

Mum bought them in M&S they were on offer~ :] so yeah I love them!! extremely yummy! not too sweet as i thought.

nom nom nom*~ [me and my friend ate at Ikkyusan before going to the event]

Last night, 6%DOKIDOKI [Japanese fashion and accessories shop from Tokyo] stopped by London at LIFE cafe/restaurant bar. Me and my friend went to the event at 9pm~
Sadly before finding out the party show starts at 11.30pm, we couldn't stay to watch their show since we had to head back home [3 hr travel trip] at that time.

It was nice being able to meet the staff and the creator of the shop, their accessories are all so kool!!
we've stayed just over an hour looking at their goodies and had a nice chit chat^^ they are all soo nice~ one of the staff had cam.recorded us oh dear..^^; it was a fun night getting to know them and take pictures with them, I hope they'll come back and visit again in future^^
